idle mode n

Set the Idle mode for vehicle idling condition.

n=0Disables Idle calculation
n=1Use GPS velocity and OBDII/J1939 RPM for IDLE calculation.
This setting requires an interface with the vehicle ECU.
n=2Use GPS PVT(position, velocity, time) information along with ignition sense for idle calculation.
This setting requires the ignition control line of the CTM to be wired to the vehicle ignition and valid GPS signal
n=3Use OBD/J1939 velocity and RPM for IDLE calculation.
This setting requires an interface with the vehicle ECU.

Examples:

  1. Configure the idle time to be calculated using data from the vehicle Engine control unit (ECU) (via OBDII or J1939) :
    cmd idle mode 1
